Fantastic Beasts: A Thunderbird named Hicks

'Fantastic Beasts' is a planned 5 part story arc spanning over multiple years from 1926-1945; where the battle between Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore took place. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, set in 1932 (although there are conflicting information), sees the end of one arc within the story of the two wizards, the end of Credence Barebone's. The film cuts some characters out and introduces new characters. The Idea is to not indulge the film but explore one of the new characters introduced. An American witch named Eulalie "Lally" Hicks.

Played by actress, Jessica Williams, known for The Incredible Jessica James, plays an Ilvermorny Charms teacher, who like the actress herself, is sorted into Thunderbird house. What do we know about this teacher... overall? The film has limited information regarding the details of characters that one must explore the film as well as any book that ties into the production, as well as what the actors and crew entails.

Lally Hicks, coming from a No-Maj world between 1890s-1900 in Harlem, went to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, alongside Tina and Queenie Goldstein, where she would spend time in the school library (MN). She was "very bookish" and "well taught". After being sorted into Thunderbird (the actress herself is one and thinks Hicks is as well), she would get a wand (HOMINA). Her wand is "intricately carved" with a handle of a body and head that represents an African Goddess (SoD:movie magic) with ebony/rosewood; coming from a tree in Nigeria. Rather if its contradictory or in addition, the figure on the wand is a mermaid and has mermaid hair as its core.

In Fantastic Beasts 3, given the relationship she has with Albus and how he tells Jacob of her supurb defensive skills, the assumption is that they were close. According to Jessica, Hicks spent time in the library where she "discovered the work of Dumbledore" and wrote to him. They became friends as they corresponded(MN).

Growing up with books as her friend, she eventually wrote books. One such book, in addition to a 10 volume series, was Advanced Charm Casting.

In addition to being a teacher, she also took the role of the Keeper of the Keys. She would go on an adventure in Berlin.

Lets break the character a bit more:

She came from a no-maj world, and born in Harlem, New York, but no indication if she was in a no-maj family or a no-maj born. It is interesting that she would have a wand from Africa with an African Mermaid core. As far as what's known there are no wandmakers in America who uses rosewood or mermaid hair, unless there were new wandmakers in 1932. Unless that... assumption is that she had procured a wand from someone in Africa.

Questions left to wonder is the book in question of Dumbledores. Is she saying he wrote a book!! What in the Goblin's Bank is this book?
