Today, The Playstation had its second event... this time showing everyone an official look at "Hogwarts Legacy"

In 2018, a leaked trailer for a secret game was revealed on Youtube before being pulled down by WB themselves. This suggested that the game was in fact real.
That trailer was showing the character creation system, potions, transfiguration, beasts, puzzles. etc. Then it was revealed we would play as a latecomer who got the letter when 15 and arriving at school in the 1890s. The character had abilities others did not. AS you can see, Runes play a role.
Then other news leaked such as Hogwarts Legacy which would be set after Harry's time and their kids. So after "Harry Potter" and "Cursed Child". This contradicted the 1800s news set before the books and will disregard the films and stick to the books. At the time, it was thought that Rocksteady Games, a WB owned company and developers of 'Batman Arkham' series and the upcoming 'Suicide Squad', would make the game. It is however another WB game studio called WB Avalance, not to be confused by Avalance Studios behind the Mad Max game.
Now, we have our first look at the game from the trailer and website.
"Experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. You have received a late acceptance to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and soon discover that you are no ordinary student: you possess an unusual ability to perceive and master Ancient Magic. Only you can decide if you will protect this secret for the good of all, or yield to the temptation of more sinister magic."
Coming from the website itself, it reveals the 1800s setting and that we would have the "unusual ability to perceive and master Ancient Magic". So the player, you, would learn old magic and older than ones known such as the curses and Expellliarmus. But let's look into the trailer itself.
In the leaked trailer, we see a teacher of Transfiguration who does not appear in this trailer. BUT, we do see a few teachers and what subject they teach and... perhaps something more for one particular teacher.
Here we have, what appears to be, Herbology. in the 90s we have Professor Sprout, whose birthday is May 15th, Unknown Year. Sproat was probably not born before the 1930s. So whoever this is, this is a new teacher. Frankly, she looks a bit like Trelawney. Other then Sprout, Neville Longbottom is the professor as of 2017. Herbology is a key and important class of Hogwarts to take, one of the prime listed subjects. So surely, Hufflepuffs would spend a whole lot of time here.
Now I want to address the picture. Clearly in the Great Hall. We get a look at the hat with al lof its patches (unlike the movies) and two teachers. The subject of these teachers are unknown with one sporting a goatee and the other seems to be older and wiser of a sort. The student under the hat could be the Player, as in YOU. What I tell you is neither is a Potions teacher, and if the leaked trailer is anything to go but, neither is a Transfiguration one. So one would be Charms and could one be Professor Binns? Perhaps the fellow in the swag of green. I say one is not potions because...
Here he is running tirelessly into it. Sporting long hair, he gives off a Sirius Black type with vest and tie and suit. Another thing to note is the robes of the students. Looks a bit like those in "Fantastic Beasts", doesn't it?
Upon closer look at another shot, we see the professor up-close, looking at a bottle. The same bottle he placed down in, seemingly, agony. Is he suffering from Lycanthropy? Looks like an animal on it.....
I think also that, given its 1800s, this guy is Phineas Nigellus Black. He was born in 1847 and was a teacher of an unknown subject. He became a Headmaster at some point before 1893 when Albus Dumbledore attended and his brother in 1895. My guess is that the game is set after.... 1895. However, that is that if this teacher is not Phineas. If it's set in the 1880s, which is likely if they are trying to go away from JK Rowling, then the headmaster is Brutus Scrimgeour.
Now away from the teachers and into activities...
Classes can have fun activities, no doubt. But what about... sports?
Look at here, Quidditch. Look at the broom with a metal top and yellow rags. Hufflepuffs would get a kick out of this as well as this is a glimpse of their own house robes for the sport. The Yellow present on the broom is clearly a fan thing and who does not want to share their pride. Also as far as to close looks at robes...
GRYFFINDORS gets a look too. Notice how Hufflepuffs are Black and Yellow and these appear o be Blue and Red. It is Black of the sort as it uses the Fantastic Beasts robes through and through and those also appear to be Blue. Ivermorny alert. I AM AN ILVERMORNY STUDENT. Perhaps one is the player and perhaps neither.
This one is interesting. Is it a sport of sorts? In France, there is a Winged Horse Race. Maybe this is that sport. Horse Betting. Could also be just a joy ride on the outskirts of the Castle.
Speaking of the outskirts of Hogwarts...
1800s Hogsmeade.
Look at this Architecture. Very old, very wooden, very medieval with its arches and animal signs with a wand. Overgrown nature and cobblestone paths. In fact, we did see this in the leaked trailer. But some wizards would see Skyrim when seeing this, I did at least.
Dormitories are in... and better it seems then in "Hogwarts Mystery", sp hopefully we get to explore it. Here it seems to be a group activity of sorts. Definitely not Gryffindors thou. There is an astronomical figure on the table and cats... perhaps this is the Ravenclaw Common Room. ARE THOSE TWO STUDENTS MAKING OUT?
PUZZLES. or something. a wall is being swarmed in a hurricane. PUZZLES AE KEY THOU AS YOU MAKE YOUR MARK IN HOGWARTS.
OH and fighting beasts it seems or at least controlling the matter, hmm:
Any Slytherins? Here are both the back and front of your wizarding robes in all its green.
and of course, for Ravenclaws...
But with such adventure... there are also enemies lurking about.
Inferi...
Dementors? the trailer's narrator says new enemies thou.
And this guy... a secret order? Snatchers? A new group that predated Death Eaters? DARK WIZARDS ARE LURKING ON SCHOOL GROUNDS. But that book seems to be important. hmmm, what about that weird box?
Definitely medieval and yes, this article is wacky. This is a brief fast look at the trailer of Hogwarts Legacy. What will you be? How will you.. define the future?
