Muggles. Witches.
"You are a Squib, Credence. I can smell it on you the moment I met you."
No-Majes. Wizards.
"What?"
Non-Magique. Magical Kind.
"You have Magical Ancestry, but no power."
Cant-Spells....
"You're Unteachable..."
The Non-Magical and the Magical are of a distant relation, same, but distant.
"See, you're a Muggle. So our physiologies are subtly different" says Newt
Subtly.
Being "subtly different" is why Muggle-Borns are possible, squibs as well for that matter. If witches and Wizards are from, as a dominant type and group, muggles, then there was a time when witches were non-magical within a family. In this time, witches and wizards, being no-magical, hunted animals for survival just like the muggles. In this time, all muggles, thou "muggle" would not exist to determine or define a separation of type, hunted mammoths and so I wonder what of the magical beasts. I wonder if, at one point, a muggle saw a magical beast and is the first time crossing paths with a magical world.
This theory I propose is that one child saw a magical beast (let's say a Graphorn) and wanted to hunt it to show that he was the stronger member of the family. This could in one of two ways. The child snuck up to the Graphorn and killed it, bring it back to show what the child had done. This would cause the others to be aware of such creatures in their areas and hunt more. The second path is that the child is to hunt, but was prevented by an elder who sees it as peaceful and in harmony. A sign of a new world to come.
If the child had eaten the Graphorn, then the child becomes of magical adept. How did a muggle tribe have an offspring of the magical adept?
Could the magical heritage become due to exposure?
It is known that magic originated in Africa and animal and plant magic is very popular. This suggests that the first Wizard was born in this country in pre-historic times. Before Quiddich was created in 1050, no doubt, when men and women played side by side. In extension, We would have to go back to the beginning of Adam and Eve. Was one magical or did the magical lineage came after?
If I were to include Prophets, like Moses, who has this power from God, could transfer to the world as a wizard. Therefore one of the earliest wizards. Problem is that the origins of wizardkind are unknown but magic originated in Africa. so then the first wizard was born here to a muggle family and he had hunted beasts. I think a Mammoth is a Beast and could very well be how the word was used in association to magical animals before the meaning of the word changed in later decades to what is now someone who follows a wizarding law.
This is to be a short piece and a subject in thought about the survival nature of muggles and the birth of wizardkind. A theory, a possible theory, on how wizards came to be through means of survival, curiosity, and warriorhood.
