Magic in North America: Magical Factions

The magical and non-magical sides fought together in the Great War of 1918 (1914-18). The thing is the non magical knew that witches helped out alongside themselves to win the war. Course some countries wasn’t successful in winning. The articles first paragraph says that they they disliked the fact they they helped, ignorant. I think that due to witches and wizards having magic, or I should say a higher power, the non-magical thought they would win. I can see that if a country fails to win the war when they have magic by their side, they would hate the magical population because they should have been better, or rather greater. However, even those countries that won the war, hated their existence, but hated too due to fear of the unknown. “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

The No-Majs hated them for contribution thou, and the aftermath didn’t seem to make a difference either way. Despite this, witches in America, and I guess No-Majs alongside, nevertheless, celebrated victories for not losing a lot of people and killing magical enemies. Maybe they celebrated spiritually yet separated in different areas.

This sounds Ike it’s a matter of perception with what they felt, saw, acted upon, as that the wizarding government remained disengaged in other relationships with the No-Majs. So what whats the snitch? They should have responded with kindness to the muggles because it would start to develop a better future. If witches and wizards started to open up to them, they would be congratulated because they made the first step to a good path. I blame the wizarding government here. By the events of the movie, they would still be cautious of each other but it was the beginning, it would alter some moments in the film especially Picquery‘s acknowledgement about No-Maj awareness even thou they knew anyway.

I mentioned how Dorcus is now a term used in the American Wizarding Dictionary. Dorcus is not mentioned in the film but seen on props of ‘Don't Be a Dorcus! No Permit! No wand!’-Newt himself ordered a permit before the film but never got it and he never does causing Madam President to be outraged calmly but strictly. In the same paragraph, for the first time, the paranormal is indicate.

For Europe to have an underground government allows both factions to cross paths and Marry, yet ghosts and monsters are freely to roam around and Hogwarts is full of them. In America, MACUSA was inflexible or unsympathetic towards them; ghosts, poltergeists, and creatures. Intolerant means they are unwilling to accept differences in opinions, ideas, beliefs, or someone who is unable to handle something. So even view. People thought that means Ilvermorny doesn't have ghosts. When I first read it, I didn’t think it was saying that at all. Ilvermorny has ghosts. It’s saying that the Ministry of Magic in Europe listens to what non-beings say and thinks. In America they don’t. Ron and Hermione asking Nick about his life, Albus allowing Firenze to teach Divination therefore accepting his ways and centaurs way of seeing the stars. In America they don’t care about what they see or think or believe, they only see that they will end up revealing the existence of the unknown world. Which is Strange with time itself. In 1914-18, the muggles and No-Majs knew they exists and in the 20s the government decided to not interact with the beasts. It’s not even years latter, they know perfectly well they exist. The No-Majs in the film wouldn’t know, mostly due to that those who fought in the war died of old age and on the battlefield. And secondly, Obliviators tweaked memories of others in 2 years (1918-1919) explaining why non-magicals are not all knowing about the existence of wizards like one of the Shaws. Nevertheless, they do exist around. In the first ’Fantastic Beasts’, when Newt and Tina was arrested And in the cell, a Sasquatch was supposed to be in it, due to time, it was not placed in. Instead the scene looks awkward due to a large empty section.

Given by now this is 1919, or nearly 1920. MACUSA members used a mind control spell on muggles who was constructing a new building and later was wiped, the building was the Woolworth building in New York. Before this headquarter, they moved in a total of 5 times. the fifth reason was due to a rebellion of 1892 led by a Sasquatch named Big Foot. It is unknown of the details about it but had a book and a musical on it. But it’s also a favorite part of mine. I want to know more about it. What led to the rebellion was a mishap between a Sasquatch and an employee of MACUSA named Irene Kneedander, Who is to protect magical species (Body for Protection of Magical Species). She attacked the Sasquatch for stepping out of order. This led to the rebellion and Irene's actions were questioned as many thought she’s to blame. She was told her job description to attack anything that “stepped out of line” (M.A.C.U.S.A). Clearly the Magical Congress was to blame for this unfortunate endeavor. But I also think it makes a great post and opinion essay around the view.

According to a book by Jason Offutt, Chasing American Monsters; which is a collection of events or accounts of monsters seen by many people, there was a Sasquatch rebellion, or at least it was mentioned on a newspaper in Philadelphia. Written in 1840, It talked about a time when a group of Sasquatches would "come down from the mountain and steal the tribe's salmon".

I feel it's important to state that the Woolworth Building was used “throughout the 1920s”. Therefore, after 1929, it is moved again. Or so I think. Seraphina Picquery herself was president from 1921-1928. JK says that FB3, which Jude Law and Eddie Redmayne, & presuming Katherine Waterston, knows the title, is set in the year 1930. Jk also says the Woolworth was chosen due to being the tallest in the 20s and conveniently, an owl was there.

In 1930, the Empire State was in construction.

I want to go back to 1892 and expand on the time more. 1892 was also the year of Europe‘s Giant Wars that might be on Hogwarts grounds. When I found out about this I took it as that there were multiple beast wars in that year. I still think so. Sasquatch rebellions, Giant Wars, and other beasts in battles all over The world and countries like Africa and China. 1892: The Year of the Beast.

If anything major came out of this article, and last of the “History Of North America” shorts, it’s wands. Wand and houses are major elements to fans. In Europe, Diagon Alley; 90s, Garrick Ollivanders famously had three cores to know: Unicorn, Dragon, and Phoenix. His grandfather had those and Kelpie in the 1920s. In the 1920s, according to the wand permit, Troll and Veela was used as well by, presuming, two others, French for Veela and a Knight for Troll. In America there were 4 wandmakers. This, I’ll get to another time.
